5e3 B+??? 300 , 320, 340 or more??

i don't know where to read wich is a good value of B+ to get the real 15W out of a Tweed Deluxe Clone (5e3)...


what is the valuee of the B+ (after rectification) ???

-300V??
-320V??
-330V??
-340V??
-350V??

i guess no more than than... isn't it?

I like to see 360 volts or more on the plates. Be sure to use a tough tube that can take the high voltage. A JJ 6V6 is a good one with good tone.

Don't know, mine is a clone I built. The Fender schematics and layouts I've seen don't show any voltage figures.

When I was building mine recently people told me that the standard was around 360V. I can't vouch for that being true or not, but it is what people told me.

The Mission 5E3 schematic shows 355-370V.
