equivelent of 100 watter attenuated by -8db

Post by Johnson »

I am looking into trying to ape the sound of my Superbass attenuated to -8db in a smaller package, preferably a head with closed 2X12. Will a 36 watt do the job?

Are you playing regular guitar through your Superbass then? If so, a 36W would probably work well for you, especially is using 6V6 power tubes. Still way loud, but no longer likely to kill passing birds like 100W Superbass.

+1 on the 6V6s in a 36 watt. Save the birds!
