Silly question ?

Post by Samycasanova »

Hello !
What kind of wire do you use in your 18watt amps ?
I´ve ordered #20 Solid coper wire covered with cotton braid , is that a good wire ?
Is there better ones , and where can i get them ?

Thanks.

Thats should be fine, some people prefer some 16 for wiring heaters but that 20gauge should be fine for genral wiring

It's not even that important, as none of the wire lengths are that long. But the cotton-covered stuff looks really funky! :D

I use 20 gauge cloth wire from radiodaze.com. It is very much like the original stuff, except for some extra PVC insulation inside the cloth. I like it--good stuff.
