Cap mania
I've read a lot of rave reviews about the Sozo caps on the Plexipalace Marshall forum and am going to order some for my 18 watt. The only value they don't make is the .005. John at Sozo said that if he knew he could sell a hundred, he would make them. Anyone else interested? Let him know at: http://www.sozoamplification.com

I have decided to make this value cap. I think it will be beneficial for restoration, and for many amp builders to voice the guitar amp the way they like.
I hope you discover the magic this capacitor can contribute to a guitar amplifier. It is a no compromise design, and truly voiced specially for guitar amps.

John thanks for posting..
A while back,i can't remember the amp place that offered them, but they were Rel caps, made just like the mustard caps. The outside and all were alike. I haven't seen them in a while.
I thought it was M&G that offered them. Quite expensive at the time,i believe they were around 5.00. While that doesn't sound like alot compared to some.
If the caps you sell do sound like alot have been posting, they are a very good price, not much more than the mallory 150.
And when it comes to tone, counting the amount of caps used in an amp,its not going to be all that much for a whole amp. There have been many debates on caps, and how they sound. Some believe it some don't. I'm one of those who does believe it and have heard the difference. It all depends where they are used, and what section, for what to use, coupling or bypass etc.. And for guitar amps, sometimes even the cheap-O caps sound better than the high dollar hi-fi caps. I'll have to get some and try them out. All the things can addup to good tone. Alot of people are building trannys and all that, its good to see someone trying to perfect good sonding caps for the guitar amps.
