Hohner Orgaphon OT
Hi All,
I have a hypersil output tranny of a Hohner Orgaphon 30Watt amp.
It was using two PL84 tubes at about 380-390V anode voltage.
Can anyone tell me what impedance did this PP stage need?
Did anyone built anything from the OT of an amp like this?
Thanks

Thanks Bulatovic,Bulatovic wrote:Well maybe, just maybe you could do a 4x 6V6 amp, but i'm not sure whether it'd be able to stand that much... I guess it can, but better to be safe and hear an opinion from an expert - Also EL34s run on 3.4k, so that might be also an option, but again, i'm not sure about the power handling.
I have checked the parameters of the 2 EL34 with 3,4k on the duncanamps webpage.
The datasheet says it produces 35W.
I'm not sure if it is safe, but maybe I will try it.
