Mesa Amp Schematics

Hey everyone, just me again.
I have an enquiry about mesa boogie amps, well, their schematics really. Basicly, I've been hearing that their schematics have delibirate errors in them, to stop people from building clones. Can anyone verify this? is it true? If so, isn't that a bit stupid, maybe dangerous, to do so? Im also attaching 2 schematics of dual rectifiers (the pre-amps), the amp is exactly the same, but the schematic is diffrent. I'd just like ot know, is there any way of telling which one is real (obviosly, one of them is wrong)? I've looked through them both thourghly, and they both SHOULD work.
Basicly, this is going to wards a little.. project Im doing, after getting some way of doing a 2204 then selling what I'd done (I didn't have the time anymore, at that point), which was a working pre-amp really..
Im not trying to clone a MB, I wouldn't want to. Mesa's are actualy worth buying (im not saying others aren't, but.. oh, I'll stop digging).

Not much difference between the 2,and if you know much about the circuts,you can tell what it would change. I've also heard they did use fake values,but as you see,it may be someone was looking at one amp,and it was different than the one they had,by the few differences.
It could be just from one model to the next as improvements are added etc.. Now they do have,and i have seen schematics of mesa,that just don't show the value. They draw the resistor,but no value on it.
Yeah i think it would be a bit harder if you were working on there amps,and had to stop and figure all these things out.
