Perforated Metal Screen Source?

Post by tbradshaw »

I'm thinking I'd like to use something like the pic below in a head cab build. I contacted a local outlet of what I presume to be a manufacturer and found it would cost upwards of $100 for two small pieces.

Does anyone have any idea where I might find something like this at a lower price? Maybe even remnants from a bigger job that I could cut myself?

Thanks.

I was installing a wireless data collection system at a satellite plant for a commercial window manufacturer. They had a bunch of that stuff that they used when they made security windows. Since I had driven to that plant I was able to ask them for a piece srap. They were kind enough to oblige and gave me a nice piece. It measured about 3' x 4'. At any rate, you may try a commercial glass place.
