Les Paul 1915 - 2009 R.I.P.
I salute a man to whom we all owe a great debt of gratitude. Thank you, Les Paul, for all you gave us in music and in technology and in humanity. May we be worthy of your legacy.

This is fully relevant to 18watt.com as there is no better amp to play a LP through.
I played my '68 a few weeks ago at a gig in an open field in California somewhere:

Les Paul will be missed.

More than a legend!
Anyone else remember the beer ad where he rips out a nice lick on the young guy's guitar and the guy asks him, "what's your name old timer?" and he says, "It's on your guitar." Though he did so much more for recorded music, I don't think he is going to get the media coverage that Jacko got. Sad.
