JCM 800 Preamp on 18 Watt Poweramp

This is something that several people have shown interest in over the years. Has anyone actually built one of these amps? If so, was it a keeper? Does anyone have a known good schematic or layout of this amp?

You can look in downloads at the 18watt plexi. In the cascade mode it is essentially like a JCM-800. With a couple resistor changes it can be the same as the 2204 preamp.

A few people have built this amp and seem to like it.

Does anyone have a layout of this amp? I am looking for a single channel model with one input and 3 12ax7 tubes. The same as a JCM 800 single channel but as an 18 watt.

Edit: I know the JCM 800 had two inputs, but I am interested in the high gain input.
