How to Install those Marshall Gold Rivets (Re: Corners)

Hi,

I'm looking at these rivets for the cabinet corners, but I don't understand how they work. To install the rivet do you:

DRILL Yes:
If Drill then how deep, 1/2 the length, all the length. How big, same as the diameter of the rivet, smaller, larger?

DRILL No:
So you just hammer them into the wood and they magically hold?

You just hammer them in, straight. Don't let them go in at an angle.
