Has anyone heard these yet? A great idea depending on the cost!!!! Not really seeing it in a stage rig where you just don't mess with the volume of your amp so much but for small venues could be a great tool.

so.....does it just physically dampen voice coil travel or something with a soft doughnut device that travels forward and back on a thread? like putting a pillow in front of your speaker?

<wild_guesses> Perhaps moves the centre pole piece of the magnet? or changes the (magnetic) coupling between the pole piece & the magnet doughnut - say a shaped pole piece or moves a magnetic or an anti-magnetic sleeve? </wild_guesses>

I tried finding the patent application for this with no luck, but from the way the frequency chart behaves, I'm thinking they must somehow be altering the magnetic field strength.
