general impressions of RCA brand tubes
I just scored a 5 pack of RCA 12AX7A's as well as a motorola one as well. I was wondering what the general impression of these particular brands was?
The motorola appears to be a long plate and the RCA's are shorties.
Thanks,
Schnauzer

Thanks for the info. While articles are good for general knowledge, I was looking for a more "mine sound like this" discussion.
I lucked out and was given these tubes. So I'm not complaining!
I'll swap out the GT's and see how they sound... The ones I have look like the $100 matched pair ones on e-bay, WOW, didn't expect that kind of a freebee!
