Here's my revision of the weber chassis front panel dimensions if you want 7 pots instead of 6
(I was designing for a 2 channel TMB + MV but this would also work nicely for the 18W trem/TMB if you used the 2 pots between the input jacks for speed & intensity).

I have no idea if I will do anything that close to the standard. Right now, I don't even know if I will offer more than this initial set. It really depends on the response once these sets are made.

Well, I don't think this is going to happen until I find a new supplier. I heard from Carey today that he's gotten busier than he can handle, so he won't be doing the custom stuff anymore.

The only other company I know that I would use right now is expensive, and has setup fees, so that would require enough people interested to do a group buy. Otherwise, it's going to be a long while until I find a new supplier, and test their stuff out.

Thanks,
Josh

Is this both chassis and faceplate? I'm currently looking at Mojotone blanks for $45 as a pretty good deal. Since I have punches can machine them it's a no-brainer. I had a local supplier quote $175 for a 5E3 style and walked. What's a decent price for faceplates? I had one made for my 5E3 and it was pricey but maybe for higher volume it would go down. http://www.precisiondesignin.com/control-panels.php - I found her one one of the amp sites...She did and excellent job her listed prices are about $30/panel + setup. She does have some Marshall style panels in her gallery.

Setup fees are B.S. A good price is about $20 per panel for a panel with plenty going on. I think Carey might still be doing custom panels, just not custom chassis. I'll check eventually after I hear from him again. He's gotten slow in communication since he got too popular.

I've done some panel designs on this, but haven't ordered any yet, slightly on the expensive side... https://www.frontpanelexpress.com/

They're very expensive. More than double what I was paying for anything good.

Though I did email that guy you mentioned in Canada.

Tube Town is pretty good for custom plates.

I designed mine in powerpoint, copy-pasted them in an open source vector graphics editor, saved to pdf and voila! Arrived 2 weeks later

On the other hand, I am looking for someone to build 2 custom chassis for me (Fender slanted style). Any recommendations welcome please.

So far not much luck on my side but I have trouble believing there isn’t a person in the world able to do that for a reasonable cost

€31 + shipping
I though the end result was really good (I will post pics of my 18W build soon)

I designed the faceplate in powerpoint, copy-pasted the shapes directly into inkscape and saved as a pdf - easy

Any ideas of people able to create custom chassis?

There are a bunch of off the shelf, undrilled chassis available so mainly a matter of cutting holes...

thanks

Good call, I've emailed the guy on reverb

Worst case I'll produce a simple CAD file for Tube-Town to produce

Cheers
