36W Tremolo TMB Reverb cosmetic make over

Post by Bieworm »

Hey.. since the build of that amp it always bothered me the way it looked. It looked off in comparison of my other builds. The small gold logo, the black trim, the white knobs...

I finally have changed that.. I wonder if I have to change the knobs to black ones. They seem fine now.. what do you guys think. Here's a pic from before, and some pics after the make over.. I even threw in some bkack alligator skinπŸ˜‰πŸ˜€

Much nicer! Knob color is up to you. If you do black knobs "as a brand thing" then they should be black. If not, it doesn't matter. I use white knobs standard on my amps. Which reminds, I should check if I need more...

I'll order some black ones and decide when they're on the amp. Black is more like the rest of the marshall alike family ...
Thanks Josh.

BTW.. today everybody was out of the house. I enjoyed the 36W on full tilt. Dang!!! This thing is so crunchy... crazy awesome!!! That hot rails in my mustang really took it to tone heaven🀘🀘🀘

It's very good and the loudness is somewhat louder than an 18W. But it's a Tremolo TMB.. not at all about clean headroom. In fact the first design was overdriven from zero on the vol dial πŸ˜‰

Same rules apply. If people want more headroom, they can go for a higher B+. Though we know that's not what you're looking for. ;)

Why more headroom? If I wanted that I'd be chasing after Hiwatt or stuff like thatπŸ˜‰

Doubt it. ;)

I like the headroom I get with my 36W amps. I also love that cascade switch for when I want less.
