18 Watt Transformers

Post by stevesuk »

My transformer supplier of 30 years has closed down.
I have inherited winding machines, tons of stock and a veteran winder guy.
We are working 3 days a week manufacturing transformers in the UK.
Our prices will be very, very competitive due to very low overheads.
Normally less than half the 'usual' prices.
At the moment for 18 Watt we have carried on making the 18 Watt Power and output transformers I have supplied for twenty three years, since the beginning of 18Watt.com.
They are available in stand up with a clamp, stand up with two shrouds and laydown / drop through with top shroud.
Example prices are £30 for output transformers in any format.
Also available is the RS original copy with RSBP top plate and all the windings including the UL taps.
Some on eBay UK although eBay have decided to stop people using 'Marshall' in the description. We also produce Fender, Vox, WEM and Hiwatt transformers.

That's pretty cool. You should share some photos of the build process.

Thanks,

You mean building a transformer ?
I can do that for the winding, laminating and varnish impregnation.
