tranny set question

I'm building a minimalist 18 watter, and I can't afford a set of heyboers so i was thinking of going with hammonds. The 272dx seems to spec alot like the PTs in the transformer section of this website. I quess my question would be if I use that transformer would the 125E OT be ok to use? MOney is tight so I'm trying to get as much bang for my buck.

The 125E would be just fine. You can also consider the 1608. I personally thought the 125E was a bit more gritty in this application and had slightly less bass but I liked it better.
