6GN8/6EB8 for reverb circuit?

I was looking for a cheaper replacement for the ECL82/6BM8 or ECL86/6GW8 tubes for a single tube reverb circuit. I came across the 6GN8/6EB8, which some people use as a sub for the 7199 in Dynaco tube stereos. Here is the link to the datasheet: [link: http://www.nj7p.org/Tube1.php?tube=6gn8 ]
Does anyone here have any experience with this tube or see any reason why I couldn't use it to make a Marshall-style one-tube reverb?

I guess you could. I mean, I have a little one tube amp, which runs on one ECL82. Triode preamp - pentode poweramp. Roughly 5 watts. I can replace ecl82 with virtually any other triode/pentode tube with the same pinout and it does work. I never tried the one you mention here, but I guess it should be ok. Just watch the B+, since the tube you are suggesting has only 300 volts of the maximum plate volage rating.
Could I see the schematic of the reverb you are talking about? That would allow me to give a better answer...
