When going to 0 to 1 on the master volume of my 36 watt I would get a pop and a jump from nothing to louder than expected...

So I decided to ad a .68uf cap across pin 1 and 2 (Between ground and hot... and MAN!!! did that fix it. Ultra smoth volume rise...

Fixing your own problems is fun!!!


I might be alucinating, but it sounds a little dirtier at really really low volume... or maybe I just didn't have that low volume range before...

You're the best, Chubsman! I've had the same problem with my TMB MV since first noise (less the pop, though); got the expen$ive PEC 2-watt jobs, to boot ! Goes from no sound up to almost one, then it just jumps to WAY louder than it should be. I'll be trying your fix (where did you come up with that idea??) soonest.

In my brain! Believe it or not.... I tought to my self - "Self, this is pissing you off, I guess if a cap smoothes out B+ volatages and other crap, it can do this job also..."

TRIED IT AND IT WORKED>>> Probably has existed for 3 years, and there is 32 post on another thread about it... but I have a patent for it now...
