Looking good Chubsman! Did you finally work out the bugs? How's the ash cabinet coming along?
I'm in NYC now and managed to try some Agile guitars. Let's just say that I wasn't too impressed.The one guitar that did impress me was an ESP EC1000. I'm probably end up with that one.I'll check it out once I'm back in Ottawa.

Hey Baccus, I went down to Retro Town music to get a JJ Rectifier and when he asked for what kind of amp, and I mentionned that I built my own and that I knew you ....
Well they gave me the royal tour of the place!! The amp repair shop< the guitar repair shop! The whole store, they almost begged me to come down and show them my 36W-er...
One salesman ended up asking my advice on the purchase of a Matchless 20 watter....!!! LMFAO!!! The customers where looking at my tell the sales staff that a 20 watter is enough power for a small gig... I looked like God,,, Man that was fun! I should have offered to build him one... They were impressed with your JTM45....

Man that looks different than mine. What kind of trannys are those? They're Niks right? Do they come with standup pt or did you request that?
What are those black things on your cathode resistors?? caps?? I should open mine up and look...are they there but in a different place on mine? hmmm...
and down the other end there...what are those little caps(?) doin on those 3 resistors? Is that some bottom end reduction or something??? I guess instead of asking I should just go take a look at mine and see wtf is going on. I sure dont know what those black caps(?) are doin on the big resistors though...must be somewhere else on mine?

I didn't use the 1/2 power switch. But I have a 1/4" jack there to install a channel switching thing that will use a footswitch.
The transformers are Heyboers, the type Richie used in his layout (80$ US a pop + shipping)
The black caps on the cathode resistors are 100uf / 50v caps , they look like that cause the electronics shop down here didn't have axial ones and I had to do with these... the'll be changed....
The little caps at the other end are caps that Richie suggested I ad to get more gain. But it seems to be turning out to be low volatages that are making the amp cleaner....
