Roudyrocker, I emailed you my contact info. I'll get my setup ready so when the tubes arrive, it will be ready for testing and recording. Should be a cool experiment! :kool:

I like the new Tung Sols also. I've found some to be a bit gainy thouh,
in Fenders. Like anything, plug and play, then switch them around
unitll you find what works best for you.

But I've already had a lot with more or less annoying hum issues. Mostly no problem in NMV Marshalls, but swapped into a SLO100 they've been terrible humming!

I've noticed this too. I think overall the chinese tubes are the most reliable good sounding tube, with JJs second. But I do really like the New Sensor TS in Fenders in V1. It is very fat tube. In Marshalls it is a little too Fendery for me, but that's me.
