EL 36?? one more bad buy or what?

Hello from Hellas(Greece)!

From an old store (closed for 20 years), I found some old tubes such as EL 84 Edicron EL 36 (TV audio)made by "RSD" the owner ask pennies for about 20 pieces...any suggestions about EL 36's? with a fast look at some internet talk they dont say much about these bulbs...anyway I'll try to make an amp with these babies,so any help/link/schematic even from a TV are welcome...I hate to throw old horses...

The EL36 was Mullard's answer to the 6L6GC, it was different enough that they didn't infringe any patents.

Oh yeah, suggestions... PENNIES EACH? BUY 'EM ALL!

O.T. but why build a 500 watt bass amp when I got an early SVT... the one with the 6146 tubes.
