please help DVZ November
Hi everyone
the DVZ November-18w idea
Has anyone built this?
Does it work?
What value for the electrolytic cap 50-500uF?
Does it need the bias circuit?
Has anyone any circuit changes that improve the operation?
if you have any or all answers it would be great, cheers

I don't know of anyone who ever built one of these - I may be wrong. To me it looks a very over-complex design - it even has two PIs! I hoe I haven't just offended anyone by saying that.
The Richie/Jersey-Aaron TMB achieves the same objective in a much more practical way, and is becoming a very popular amp to build.

Yes you could do,or try the FB. I drew a few pics of how to do that, and not have a presence control. just set it with resistor and cap. There are many things that people could do to the circut or try.Add a cut control,or a resenence control. use the Post MV,instead of the pre MV.
Some like it as it is,but the things that are used on marshalls, and fenders could also be done to this amp. The sound files i have heard so far, are very good sounding amps. But nothing in stone of experimenting and trying things. As JA said too, the layout means alot, getting it correct, will help keep you from having problems. Short leads or runs of wire.

If you really want NFB, then yes, as Richie also points out. There was another recent thread about adding NFB to a TMB 18W. You could even make it switchable without much problem. Or if you don't need the Presence control, you can do the Voxy Lady's NFB, which takes only two extra resistors - http://ax84.com/media/ax84_m110.pdfmick wrote: ...do you think we could take the -fb of the November and put it in the TMB
