Dumb question - how to mount chassis to head cabinet?

Post by Daz »

There's a real simple answer to this, I'm sure.

Those of you that have built heads - how did you mount the chassis to the head cab? Looks like there are screw holes on the open-side edges of the chassis which are used to mount it to the bottom of the head cabinet, but I can't work out how one would access the mounting screws once the chassis is in place.

Thanks,

Just drill holes in the bottom of the cabinet in the 4 appropiate locations. Then use screws with finish washers to hold it down. I forget what size the screws are, maybe 8/32 ? Just make sure there is clearance. There are other ways but this is an easy way to do it.
