Bulk strings - where?

Post by Benboom »

I want to find a source for bulk strings. I have one guitar that's strung Nashville style (all unwound strings) and I can't seem to find anybody that will sell 10's, 17's etc. in bulk at a cheap price. All the usual suspects want to charge .60 per STRING which works out to more than you'd pay for a set for a regular strung guitar with wound lower strings.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Have you checked out juststrings.com? Plain steel unwound strings in a number of gauges, 12 for $2.90... http://www.juststrings.com/plainsteelgu ... rings.html

Just wanted to mention that this place has been recommended to me too:
http://216.162.122.4/euphonon/electric.html

They have electric sets for $2.70, or a dozen sets for $20.50. Quality is supposed to be good but obviously I don't know yet. they also sell in bulk and thier price per dozen is 20 cents cheaper than the other site.
