Fender 1970s PA 100

So I sat down are played all 4 channels and apparently 1-3 are stock. They sound fine with microphones but too in your face and unresponsive for guitar. But channel 4 sounds pure Blackface Fender. So, I believe someone in the past had already modified that channel and put the 3 prong power cable and the MOD filter cap kit in it. Channel 4 sounds perfect. I splotched up the salt and pepper grill by putting too much water on it to shrink it so I had to just make it black. I think it looks pretty good. The cabinet was some knock off of a Bassman 2-12 and it has got to be from the 70s too. It is smaller than a Bassman by 2 inches in height and width which makes it perfectly fit the head. It turned out to be made of MDF so the seller knocked off $100 bucks on it. But it did have 1 real vintage fender 8 ohm speaker in it. So, that's worth something. Here is how it ended up.

Something else I discovered about this amp is: playing through a 2-12 sealed cabinet with Celestion Alnico Gold speakers you can get a great music playback by using 2 channels to mix a stereo signal to mono. Even without horns or a tweeter you still get enough high end and the warm tube sound and its loud if you want it.
