Rangemaster Clone
I made a Rangemaster Clone with parts from Small Bear Electronics. I thought it would be fun to use with my 18 watt 'Mini Bluesbreaker'. Well it exceeded my expectations to say the least. Although it's a somewhat primitive device the tone is worth it. With a Strat the marshall sounds like a Vox and with my friend's Rickenbacker 330 you're in George harrison territory immediately. I still haven't tried the Les Paul but I'm hoping for the "Beano" tone with that combination. Brian May lead sounds are another possibility.
I recommend the project for all you 18 watt builders.

Cool good to know if anyone wants one of these checkout
the cheetah scream on ebay This guy is a local who runs Krank
amps he makes a killer clone of this pedal
If you dont want to build one..
he sells them fairly cheap like 60 70 bucks
compared to some of these guys getting 400.00 for a tube screamer
clone.
Hey are we allowed pedals here..?
I mean is that against the rules?

Hey Mac, I have been trying to get in touch. The tolex was returned because I did not put enough postage on the flat. I am resending it. My hard disk crashed last week and I lost your email address. If you could, drop me a line at sphin@grnco.net. Thanks.
