Questions about tubes

Hello,

My name is Dan and I have a few questions about your tubes.
I have an oppertunity to join a friend's tube order and I'm thinking of tring somthig new with my amp. I have a Classic 30 which all of it's tube are still the original EH's supplied. I want to have replacement tubes at hand, so it's quite convinient. I've heard great things about JJ's tubes and was wondering if I should try some my self. in your experience, what tubes sould I use in the preamp and power amp (can I load it with 6V6?).
I've took intrerest in the following: ECC803S, ECC823, 6V6 and EL84.
So, what do you think?

For the classic 30 you are limited to using EL84s in the output. JJ are my favorite new production tubes for EL84s, with Ei being second for EL84s.

I would suggest the JJ ECC83S model for the preamps. A lot of guys here also like the Electro Harmonix 12AX7EH, which is also a good sounding tube.
