differences in circuit

I have all the parts for a 18watter. I haven't gotten a chassis yet. My delemia: should I build the 18 with tremelo or should I buy a "plexi " chassis and use a three 12ax7 front end. What do you think are the benifits of the traditional 18 wt circuit? thanks paul

I'd say, if ya use trem at all, go with the trem. It is the coolest sounding trem I've ever heard. I think it is much better than the VOx even. It's almost a vibe sounding kinda trem. And I think I remember someone from the old board saying that there is a bit a phasing going on with this trem. Maybe they'll comment again.
