further trem problems

looking over everything my trem channel looks good. I've tried switching between EH and Ei tubes but the trem still doesn't work. when i turn the depth up though, i lose tone - in both volume and high end. turning the speed knob does something like that although to a lesse extent. but i definitely do not get a pulsing tremelo. anyone have any idea whats going on?

will try to do this tonite when i get home. when i first fired up after construction however, i think everything was within spec as far as tubes go. some may have been a little high, but I seem to be running a tad bit higher than usual anyway.

I dont use a footswtich. i've decided to always have the trem on and so i've isolated the lead from V3.

Some ideas..some of us drill out the {cable hole} and put in a switchcraft switching type jack.. You can make this where its off when the footswitch is not hooked up..and when you plug in the footswitch, it works by the footswitch..some of us also added a switch on the speaker plate,then you can turn the trem on or off without the footswitch..or you can plug in the footswitch and use it.. kinda 2 options.

i wasnt able to look at it last night and get voltages, but i think the problem is lack of that extra capacitance. i'll try the 47pf fix as soon as i get a chance. thanks for your help guys!
