Do folks gig "normal" or "tremolo?"
I'm putting my new 18Watt tremolo head through its paces. As I'm doing so, I'm curious which channel folks usually plug into. The breakup and tone of the normal channel seems more Fendery/Tweed than the tremolo side. The tone control on the normal side appears to be fairly subtle. Meanwhile, the tremolo side has more dynamic control over the high end of the tone and sounds more "British" as it and the volume are turned up. Is that generally the case with these amps?

Tele,
As far as the differences in the channels go, the normal channel breaks up a bit more easily than the trem channel on mine. Also, the tone control on the normal channel is more effective. The trem channel is a bit brighter with a touch less bass and a less effective tone control. I agree that the normal channel is a bit more tweedy. The trem channel does have a more Vox like swirl on mine.
