Hey Guys,

First let me say that I am new to this site I have been going through the info
for about month now and what a great site.


I have a Hawkins built 18 watt head 2- 12ax7's and 2 EL84's
Question is I also have a Mesa Rocket 440 which has developed some problems with the preamp (loud hissing) did all the checking and narrowed it down to the Preamp I hae considered sending this to Mesa for repair however
I have also been thinking that I might take the OT and the tube socket board
and use them in the Hawkins 18 to convert this to a 36 watter does anyone think this is very feasible and if so how much work do you think this would be
