Small talk clutter

Hi all,
Recently, site administrators have become concerned with off-topic chit-chat cluttering threads of a technical nature. In an effort to make it easier to find information relating to a given thread Topic, we are asking that you refrain from engaging in off-topic small talk on technical threads.
We appreciate the friendly atmosphere that has developed here and do not wish to discourage it. We simply ask that you honor the purpose for which a given thread was started.
Comments that do not relate to the Topic will be deleted. Thanks for your cooperation.
