Here's a sound clip of my 18 watt

Recorded with my trusty Radio Shack mic into a Soundblaster sound card using Guitar Tracks Pro. No processing, just raw guitar/cable/amp.

Amp is my 18 watt head through a 2x12 Jenkins Highway 61 cab. Cab has 1 Alnico Weber Blue and 1 Ceramic Weber Blue. I positioned the mic right between the two speakers about 2 feet from the cab.

Recording is of the Trem channel, Tone at 3:00, Volume at 2:00.
Guitar is a Les Paul Classic using the bridge pickup.
All that buzz and rattle are my ceiling tiles shaking away.

I had to cut the clip short & encode in lower quality for file size. I'd love to post some better clips if I can.

Oh yeah, I already know my playing isn't good

I thought the Billy Squier riff would sound cool. Someone did the same riff on the Gear Page using one of those /13 amps. I think the 18 sounds just as good.

Well you play a hell of a lot better than I do. And yes it does sound great.
