Would an OT with a 5k primary be suitable for use with a 6V6 that should be hooked up to a 6K primary?What would be the side effects?Anything serious?

that should be OK, though I would feel more comfortable running them at 10K This is for push/pull operation, correct?
Your plate load/impedance/voltage stuff will change, not sure if you will need a lower voltage or a higher one to do this. The math is a little intimidating but it can be done, go here: http://boozhoundlabs.com/howto/
Otherwise, you could double the speaker load (i.e. a 16 ohm speaker instead of 8 ohm, or double whatever the load on your OT should be) and it will reflect back a doubled (10K) impedance on the primary.
But if you run it in the 6K6 slot, all things being equal, you will get more volume and distortion... certainly not a bad thing but at some point this gets dangerous, not sure if you're pushing it or not.
If this is to go into an amp designed for 6K6, I would not really worry about it.

If that's for a single-ended amp, that's fine. Maybe a tad less power and sooner to breakup....

yes its for a the SEL over at AX84 i was just unsure if it would damage the tube etc

sorry does a tad mean about 2/3 watts
