need instruction set for knight 600 tube tester

Ummm... I've never read instructions for anything in my entire life!
A quick rundown... I'm not entirely familiar with your Knight but I can tell you a couple things. It's an emission tester, it will give you a go/no go read on tubes but it isn't as useful as a mutual transconductance tester. It's not as expensive, either.
There should be a couple knobs, there'a voltage knob and a load knob, then there's a bunch of bat switches. There's also a roll chart. The roll chart will tell you where to set your voltage and load knobs for the particular tube you're testing plus it will tell you where to set your bat switches. When you set your tester to resemble the setting on the roll chart all you do is stuff the tube you're going to test into whatever socket will accept it and you'll get a reading on the meter... good, questionable or NFG.
There should also be another switch on the thing to switch it from a "quality" test using the meter to a gas/shorts test. On my emissions tester a bulb lights if the tube is shorted.
You'll quickly get a feel for it after testing say a few 12AX7s. These things aren't rocket science, there used to have 'em in drugstores and hardware stores so the general public could walk in and test their tubes. If the General Public could test their tubes with minimal instructions in 1967 you may be able to test your tubes with minimal instructions in Y2K+7.
