Hey there.

I've been lurking on this board for a while, looking at schematics and layouts and such and finally decided to mod my Valve Junior combo.

I have all of my components, but have run into the problem of removing the chassis from the actual cabinet. All of the screws are out of the top face, so there's nothing externally visible holding it in.

Do I just push it from the front side? I don't really want to break things, as you could imagine, so I'm trying to be as cautious as possible.

hi. please do not take this the wrong way. but if you are having problems
removing your chassis from the cab, are you going to be ok with working on the HIGH voltages that are inside?

haha well, thats DEFINITELY a fair question. But no, I'm working with a qualified electronics technician, to make up for what I wasn't taught in a prep-school highschool.

'Cause as we all know, ineptness with cabinetry has everything to do with electronics.

Quick rundown on how to get it out, for anyone that needs such a thing...

- Remove the back panel
- Remove the four round black buttons on top of the amp to expose the screws that hold the chassis in place
- Remove those screws
- Pull chassis out of cabinet
- When removing the PCB from the chassis, use a larger screwdriver than you think you'll need. They may look small, but they accommodate a large head... like YOUR MOM! haha! Burn. */6th grade*
