Biasing on pin 8
I checked my 1 ohm resistor going to ground on pin 8 and it is 1.2ohm how does that affect my reading do i multiply or divide or neither.
Any help i would be greatful
Thanks Ben

If it were 1 ohm and you had 20 millivolts across it, that would give you 20ma because you divide voltage (.020) over resistance (1) to get current (.020 amps or 20 milliamps).
So if your resistor is actually 1.2, you need to divide your voltage by 1.2 rather than 1.
So say you get 30 millivolts, 30/1.2 = 25ma.
Good thing you checked that, it is a very good thing to know, but check continuity between your test leads, that may even show .2 ohms or so, which would mean your resistor is right on.
