Comrades,

What are the differences b/w these amps? ie: components, sounds etc.

The difference in price on the Ceriatone site prompted my question.

btw - i know the origins of the Bluesbraker name.

AFAIK the Bluesbreaker is the combo version of the JTM45, with tremolo. Clapton needed it to fit into the trunk of his car.

The JTM45 is a copy of the 5F6a Bassman. Marshall couldn't figuire out how to install grill cloth so they made it into a head version. When they got the grill cloth issue resolved, they came out with the Bluesbreaker combo. The reason the combo has 2 -12's instead of 4 - 10's is because Celestion couldn't make a decent sounding 10" speaker at the time.
