Skystreak 18/36watt build

Heres one I've been perfecting over the last month or two and finally got it where I want it sound wise etc... <P>

Thanks. Yea I'm trying to build all my chassis from scratch useing heavy ga. aluminum. I build my own break and it works nicely and I bought a small 18" break from Harbor freight for the smaller stuff.

I do not have the english word for that "bouchonné" finish on the chassis, how did you do that ?

That's called a turned finish and it's done by useing a stainless brush chucked up in my mill and you just make a circle at a time like your useing a drill press to make holes. It's easy.

Thanks Phil. The name? I don't know? Jet fighters and hotrods seem to go well with amps and thats what I think of when building these things. Plus I work on old radios too and a old radio mfg from the 30s and 40s called Hallicrafters had a line of radios called Skyriders, Sky cheif etc.. and I always thought that was cool and I remembered the old Skystreak jets and thought thats it! I'll build my amps with hotrod and jet fighter themes.
