Anyone have one of these amps...

Post by RossH »

or heard one...or better yet, have sound clips? If so, what are your impressions?

Harmony H415

Here is an excerpt from a fun article I found...
=======================
"Ken Fischer's List Of Ten Good Sounding Old Amps That Are Overlooked (No Particular Order): "

3) Harmony H-415 This amp was made for Harmony by Valco. It's a 2X12 combo with Jensen C12R speakers with a Harmony custom part number. The speakers have black frames. The amp has two channels with volume and tone controls. This amp also has tremolo. The power section uses two EL84 tubes. Here's the deal, push this amp with a Menatone Blue Collar and it sounds as good albeit different as one of my favorites, the Marshall 18 watt combo, for one tenth the price of the Marshall. Not a bad deal for those on a budget, and those who can afford anything and crave great tones.

Hmm. Never heard of a Blue Collar either. More explorative fun.
