Tube Overdrive
Anyone know of a DIY tube overdrive circuit--something like a Chandler Tube Driver or one of the other units that were popular in the 80's? I just can't sit still and need to start building effects...

There are many forums with effect building info. These are a few.

Apparently this should be in the off topic area:

but strangely enough you haven't had the same warning we have.

Re: Tube Overdrive
How simple/complex do you want it? At the simpler end, try the Real McTube II - http://www.dogstar.dantimax.dk/tubestuf/mctube.htms2 wrote:Anyone know of a DIY tube overdrive circuit--something like a Chandler Tube Driver or one of the other units that were popular in the 80's? Or if you want a more complex dual-channel unit, try the Matchless Hotbox -
