tube retainers for EL84 and/or EZ81

Both EL84s and EZ81s fit into a 9-pin socket. Can I use one of these Wire Retainers for an EL84 interchangeably with an EZ81?
Should work fine - I have used that sort of retainer for my amps and it worked perfectly for the power tubes and the rectifier. Most of my EZ81s (JJs and Mullard) are roughly the same size as most of my EL84s...YMMV
