Ceriatone's new face

Post by Gabi »

Hi all--

Hey - Apparently our friend and co-18watt member Nik from Ceriatone has updated his website:

www.ceriatone.com

He has a lot of yummy stuff to offer for us there (complete boards, chassis, all that)! Pay him a visit! You won't be sorry! He is a great guy to deal with... I already experienced that - I bought a TMB board from him, and preparing to get some more.

Way to go Nik!

Gabi.

Hey Gab, and all,

Thanks much!

Yes things have been a bit hectic here a bit, hence the silence. Things are sorting out, so I can hang soon.

In the meantime, yeah, visit the website and increase the counter-o-rama. That should be fun to see. Oh wait...I think i forgot to add that..doh!

Anyways, keep on rockin.

Thanks!

Nik

The only thing I think is missing is a descrition of each amp when you click to the particular model...

I don't even know what the spitfire is....

What are Matchless amps like anyway? As good as people used to say?

The SPitfire is quite close to being a kind of Lite II, with higher gain preamp , higher preamp and PI voltages. It has a Voxish clean sound with a lot of depth, and an overdrive tone that is a lot smoother and refined than an 18W, due to relatively more PI distortion. I know it's a personal taste thing, but I really prefer the 18Ws overdrive tone, which has more raw-edged hairiness and growl...
