Condition 7/10.. I think that’s a little optimistic

I'm surprised MG are selling the cab and aren't already assembling a ragbag collection of old components to build yet another of their infamous fake vintage Marshall 18Ws into it.

Why bother if you can add £600 to the value by just hoping. (The only reason I can imagine for the pricing strategy.
Or maybe no one is free in the business to do time on it?

They have actually said, nobody will buy 18 Watters from them anymore, so they seem to be dismantling them and selling the parts.
I saw them both "at large" on Denmark Street just last week.

The Harrisons hate any reference to grills because it reminds them of jail.

Victory!!! :D :D :D

I hope they're only dismantling their fake vintage amps then, and not any real ones.

Maybe they were out on bail.

As a cabinet builder it is crazy to think that is worth 700 sterling!!!! Its a piece of baltic birch with tolex on it. LOL

(of course if someone wants me to build one for 700 pounds I'd be happy to. Will even throw in the grill cloth for free)

Jeff, you would also need to "relic" it so you could claim it was an original vintage cab.

I read on the Vintage Amps forum today that the two Harrisons had recently been featured on the BBC's "Crimewatch" program, complete with pictures of the Music Ground shops. :D

I read somewhere that the guitar pictures used in the Crimewatch story were pictures actually taken in MG!

This is such an incredible story which is still unfolding as the guitar world watches.
