I was considering getting some celestion g12m greeanback 25watt 8 ohm speakers has anyone used these in there 18watters i see the 1974x loaded with greenback 30 watt speakers, any opions on the 25watt g12m i found some for 100$ brand new, just looking for some feedback mark

Yip thats what I have in my combo, I really like it, less bass than the G12H, but that is needed in some configurations.
It has a really nice woody creamy tone

The regular (not the Heritage model) G12M sounds best in closed back cabs to my ears. In an open back cab it gets trashy sounding (not in a good way) at higher volumes. In a closed back cab it's superb. The G12H (which has a bigger magnet, more bass and treble response, and a less "soft" breakup character to my ears) sounds great in open back cabs.
