When the light bulb limiter lights up there is a short inside the amp, if it doesn't light up the amp is probably all right... that's IF the light buld limiter is built ok. You can test the limiter by creating a short. Simply by putting a jumper wire between the blue and the brown wire. If the bulb lights up it's working.
