My take on the classic lite2B. Still one of my favorite circuits to build. I call my version the Comet 18. I also build a larger 36W variant: the Comet 30.

can you enlighten us with the mods i.e. snubber on the phase plates and what’s going on with the V1 cathodes?

V1 has switchable cathode caps: .68 in circuit continuous with 8uf switchable in parallel. Bias resistor is fixed at 820R.

what value is the mica cap across the phase plate resistors? this is the first lite2b i've seen with that,usually it's the higher gain amps.
