Another JJ Bites the Dust

I'm probably not being fair since the guy played the amp for 7 years before the tube went bad. But it's still funny. I swapped another tube I had lying around in, and he was back in business. Zaphod_Phil would be proud because it's certainly not matched tubes now.

The glow I guess is indicative of gas being in the tube, but the noise was a slightly bigger issue.

JJ need to get the contract for the next Frankenstein film,no need for special effects just a row of their el84’s!

lol, it did work fine for 7 years. Which for JJs, is a great record.
Too bad they're not supposed to glow that color, I think it's awesome. Somebody needs to make tubes that glow that color without being defective.

How much heat would a LED withstand? You could build in a purple one in the socket hole
