Need help!!

I require assistance, everyone! I'm currently in the process of constructing an AC power supply with a switchable "earthed/floating" output specifically for working with an oscilloscope. I have managed to obtain some isolation transformers, but I'm uncertain about the appropriate current rating for the windings necessary when working on guitar amps. What would be a safe current amperage that you recommend? I don't want to purchase a transformer with excessive capacity, but I also want to ensure that I meet the necessary specifications without falling short.

No, absolutely not. Keep your amp and your oscilloscope grounded, and get a proper differential probe. If you don't know how to safely measure or work inside of an amp, you should bring it to a professional.
