Two channel to Lite

How to convert a standard two channel 18 watt to a one channel? Can I just jumper pins 3 and 8, and 2 and 7 on V1?

No. What is your goal with this? Sounds like you need the tremolo TMB

Thanks for the response.

My goal was this. I built the usual two channel 18 watter with TMB and Normal channels. And I included a PPIMV on the front of the chassis, so I ran out of room for two sets of inputs. I linked the normal and tmb internally, and that works, but I never liked the normal channel on its own, so I was thinking that since I don't like the normal channel sound, could I just eliminate it all together, essentially making it a superlite tmb. I tried separate hi impedance inputs, one for normal and one for tmb. That worked good, but I wanted to have the lo input on the tmb channel to run an overdrive pedal. Decisions, decisions, ...?

I'm going to try changing the normal channel cathode bypass cap from 50uf to 2uf and see if that solves my problem. At 50uf it just has some sort of low-mid spongy feel that I don't like. If that works I need to leave this amp alone and build a Tremolo TMB!

Either channel can be eliminated. If you remove the normal channel, use a 0.1uF cap to ground for the half of the PI input you remove it from.
